It has been an honor to represent the Detroit Eagle & the Detroit Leather Community as Mr. Detroit Eagle. This past year is one that will be very memorable and I have a lot of people to thank for making my title year so special. First I want to thank my predecessors who held this title. It is because of their visibility and hard work during their title years that an automatic level of respect and reverence is given to those of us who don this sash. Each have done their part to blaze a trail for the next Mr. Detroit Eagle and have offered their wisdom, assistance, connections to the greater worldwide leather community and most importantly their brotherhood and support.

In the group of "formers" is one very important person that made my title year the best it could be and that is my partner, Craig Anderson. I would not be the man I am today if it were not for him. I thank Frank and the entire staff of the Detroit Eagle, little was asked of me but much support, love and respect was given to me by Frank and his staff and I am grateful to each them. I also want to personally thank the following for their support: BullmanX, Chicago Leather Kennel Club, "Rubber Willi", ICON Detroit, MCC Churches and my fellow 2007 IML classmates.

Finally I need to say thank you to the 27 leather bars and events I visited throughout the U.S. and Canada this year for their hospitality and recognition of the Mr. Detroit Eagle title. I especially want thank a very talented bartender in Phoenix for being so warm and open with his welcome. He deserves a big hand from me…again!
